Is the first release from Port Of Saints Media, scheduled for release 30th June 2016. It is also the first release in the Soundscapes catalogue. The aim with The Streets of Chance as with the Soundscapes catalogue is to produce music that has a definite sense of space. A kind of musical cinematography, a way creating a suspended moment, or an extended 'now.' The Streets of Chance is named after a chapter from the novel, The Soft Machine by William Burroughs and as with Burroughs work it attempts to create a sense of dislocation and endless time, or a feeling of drifting from one moment to the next without a linear narrative. Following the release of the Streets of Chance we are hoping to work with spoken word artists in order to create electronic musical atmospheres that incorporate words as a part of the musical system.
